Overview

M@cGal Design Studio was established in August 2001, just 3 weeks before September 11. Due to the nationwide scare and oncoming recession, we didn't start gaining momentum in February 2002. It was after our first direct mail campaign was released stating that advertising must continue during this recession because the competition is still doing it. M@cGal Design Studio received a 2% response to the mailing and 100% in closed contracts thereof. Since our opening, M@cGal Design Studio has shown increasing revenue every year, but doubled our revenue in the 2nd year of business. Our office is located in Parker, Colorado.

The President and Founder of M@cGal Design Studio, Francie Billings, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design in 1996 from Eastern Illinois University. Upon graduation she uprooted from her small town in southern Illinois and relocated to Chicago where she began building her portfolio and expertise from 1996 - 1999. Companies that employed her include Life Fitness, Publications International, Davies Pacheco & Murphy Advertising and MEDEC Publishing. Job titles held include Graphic Designer, Project Manager and Assistant Art Director.

Francie moved to Denver, CO in 1999, with her husband, CJ, where she taught Graphic Design courses on the collegiate level at Platt College for 2.5 years while also holding an Art Director position at Wiesner Publishing in Centennial, CO. This occurred simultaneously while she was networking through The South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce to build her current client base and launch what is now M@cGal Design Studio. Francie and CJ have two young children, Erica, age 3, and Carter, age 1. They reside in Parker, Colorado.
